A Year of Purposeful Lakes/de Progress Meaningful transformations taking shape season by season Over the past year, significant progress has been made at Perham Lakeside Golf Course as we continue to invest in both our facilities and our people. One of the most notable improvements place last winter with a comprehensive interior renovation of Lakeside Tap. With the guidance of lead contractor Heath Tupper, our dedicated employees spent the off-season assisting with updates that have transformed the space into a more modern, functional, and inviting destination. Inside Lakeside Tap, divider walls were added, fresh paint applied, and new tables installed to enhance both layout and comfort. The bar area received a complete overhaul, including a redesigned back bar and the addition of a second bar rail behind the main bar, replacing previous table seating and improving flow during busy service hours. A sleek black ceiling was installed to elevate the atmosphere, while the bridal suite was refreshed and reimagined to serve double duty as a private dining and meeting space. The modern aesthetic was carried beyond the main dining area into the hallway and restrooms, ensuring a cohesive look throughout. A slatted ceiling now frames the skylight, adding architectural interest and warmth. While there are still a few bar-area projects planned for the future, we are thrilled with the results of these upgrades and the refreshed feel they bring to the space. Looking ahead, many of these design elements will be extended into the Event Center as part of future improvements. Celebrating 80 years in Perham "From first impressions to lasting memories, our goal is to deliver a destination that guests are proud to return to." Infrastructure Built for the Future Turning Attention Outdoors With indoor renovations largely complete, our focus is now shifting outdoors. This coming wedding season, our outdoor ceremony site will receive an uplift designed to create a more natural, woodsy ambiance. New patio furniture is a top priority, helping to make our outdoor spaces more comfortable and appealing for guests and events alike. Alongside these physical improvements, organizational growth has played a key role in our recent success. With several new department heads now in place, we aim to build on the momentum of the past year-continuing to strengthen all facets of our operation and positioning the course as a desirable destination for both tourists and local residents. Infrastructure improvements are also moving forward. A long- overdue renovation of the grounds crew shop and the construction of a new cart barn will finally come to fruition this spring. The new cart shed will provide enclosed, year- round storage for up to 90 carts and will closely match the aesthetic of the existing clubhouse. An attached storage room will offer additional space for Event Center equipment. Once construction is complete, the current maintenance operations will relocate to the existing cart shed, allowing the old maintenance building to be demolished and rebuilt to better serve our operational needs. Together, these projects reflect our ongoing commitment to thoughtful growth, modern upgrades, and creating a welcoming experience across every corner of the property.
